With his keenly critical eye, Creative Director Joey Battisti is deftly able to create new directions in beauty, style and color that influence the famed Bollei Look seen on top models and celebrities worldwide. Joey's training began at the early age of 16 in Milan where he learned and honed his craft with some of the best-known teachers in international beauty. Upon his return to the USA, he became a New York State Platinum Educator for prominent beauty industry leaders. Joey is consistently featured in top consumer and trade publications for his expertise in cutting-edge products as well as his signature cuts, color blends and styling techniques. He was recently nominated by Allure Magazine for its prestigious "Best Haircuts" award as well as by Quest Magazine for its "Best Thermal Reconditioning Treatment" award.
Inside the salon, Joey specializes in four techniques of hair extensions and Keratin Straightening. One of his passions is to create treatments for particular hair disorders. Notably, he pursued this interest and so co-created Miniveil and Hairbits, both solutions for thinning hair. His talents are very much in demand by A-list celebrities who "simply must have" his fabulous hair extensions. Joey is definitely one of those bi-coastal star artists whose work shines on the runways and red carpets year after year.
